The institute library, established in 1984, has steadily expanded in both size and resources to attain its present stature as the academic hub of the campus. Equipped with modern facilities, the library operates on the Koha Library Management Software, ensuring complete computerization of all activities, including book barcoding and circulation. A dedicated Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) terminal enables users to search and locate books efficiently. Along with an extensive book collection, the library also maintains a rich assortment of educational CDs and encyclopaedias.
The library remains open on all working days from 0745 hrs to 1900 hrs, offering ample access time for students and faculty. Reprographic services are available at nominal charges, and internet access is provided for browsing and printing information. Library membership is also extended to institute alumni.
The library caters to the information needs of students and faculty across various disciplines. It houses more than 52,000 books covering engineering, technology, humanities, and social sciences, with around 1,500 new books added annually. The digital resources of the library are further enriched through access to e-journals via the ONOS platform, supporting the academic and research needs of the institute.
