The department has well equipped with state of the art infrastructure to support both academic and practical learning. All the three class rooms LCD projector, mini computer with wi fi facility for effective learning.
The department has eight labs and a mainetance cell. The mainenance cell handle all electronic appliances in the campus. It also handles CCTV installation and maintenance, Display units, Audio Visual equipments in AV/ Conference Hall, Auditorium etc.
1. Basic Electronics lab. - The Basic Electronics Laboratory is well-equipped with modern test and measurement instruments to analyze and evaluate the performance of both passive and active electronic components. Students can perform hands-on experiments using devices such as multimeters, CRO/DSO, function generators, and regulated power supplies to study circuit behavior.
2. Digital Electronic Lab -This Lab. is well-equipped with advanced test and measurement instruments for evaluating the performance of SSI, MSI, LSI, and VLSI digital ICs. The lab enables students to design, implement, and test digital circuits, including interface experiments with various transducers and sensors. It also offers simulation facilities through Proteus, online logic simulation platforms, and VIVADO software for VHDL-based digital design, synthesis, and verification. This comprehensive setup provides hands-on learning and strengthens students’ skills in modern digital system development.
3. Communication System Lab. - The Communication Laboratory is well-equipped with advanced test and measuring instruments, along with trainers. It includes setups for satellite transmission, analog, and digital communication systems, Hamming code generation and correction, delta modulation, mobile communication, Antenna system experiments and television system analysis. Students gain practical exposure to real-time signal transmission, modulation, fiber optic communication, digital modulation schemes, and antenna parameter evaluation. Simulation and analysis are carried out using Scilab and OptiSystem software, enabling students to design, model, and evaluate modern communication networks effectively.
4. Electronics Workshop - The Electronics Workshop is well-equipped with essential test and measuring instruments for analyzing and testing both active and passive components. It features PCB design software and a CNC PCB drilling machine for designing circuit layouts, transferring them onto copper-clad boards, and performing precise drilling operations. Students gain hands-on experience in soldering and desoldering techniques, assembly, and troubleshooting of circuits.
5. Applied Electronics Lab. - The Applied Electronics Laboratory is fully equipped with modern test and measuring instruments, along with a wide range of active and passive components, operational amplifiers, and timer ICs. Students perform hands-on experiments using operational amplifiers to study applications such as inverting and non-inverting amplifiers, differentiators, integrators, comparators, and multivibrators. The lab provides a strong practical foundation in analog circuit design and analysis, helping students understand real-world behavior of electronic systems and their industrial relevance.
6. Embedded System Lab. - The Embedded Systems Laboratory is equipped with advanced trainer kits based on the 8086 microprocessor and microcontroller platforms, enabling students to perform practical experiments through PC interfacing. The lab provides software tools such as Keil and TASM for program development, debugging, simulation and programming in EPROM through programmer.
7. IDEA lab. - The Idea Lab is a creative innovation space equipped with modern electronic workbenches, Arduino boards, ESP32 modules, and a wide range of sensors. It enables students to design and implement IoT-based projects by interfacing microcontrollers with platforms such as Blynk and ThingSpeak for real-time monitoring and control. Students also gain hands-on experience using TinkerCAD for Arduino-based circuit simulation and 3D object design for prototyping and fabrication through 3D printing. This integrated setup encourages innovation, practical learning, and the development of problem-solving skills through project-based experimentation.
8. Advanced Communication Lab. - This Lab provides students with practical exposure to modern high-frequency communication techniques. It is equipped with microwave test bench for conducting experiments on waveguides, klystron and Gunn diode characteristics, VSWR, and microwave antenna measurements.
