'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan

Organised by the A&N Administration in collaboration with MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GoI, as part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

The 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan' was successfully conducted on 2nd August 2026 at 10:00 AM in the auditorium of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, DBRAIT, Sri Vijaya Puram. The programme was organised by the A&N Administration in collaboration with MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, GoI, as part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The highlight was the virtual address by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who interacted with the youth. Around 1,000 MY Bharat volunteers and youth from South Andaman District participated in the event. The faculty, staff and student volunteers of DBRAIT contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the programme. The campaign also marked the launch of a 100-week nationwide Sunday movement promoting sports, fitness, yoga, cultural activities and community engagement towards the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.
